Coverlee currently has no advertising, no sponsored content and no affiliate links. Nobody pays us to appear in a guide or to change a calculator.

Today

As of the date above, Coverlee:

  • shows no advertising;
  • publishes no sponsored content;
  • uses no affiliate or referral links;
  • receives no payment from insurers, agents, brokers or comparison sites;
  • does not sell leads or pass your details to anyone.

Links in our guides go to official sources, such as state insurance departments, the NAIC, FEMA and the IRS, so you can check facts yourself.

If that changes

If Coverlee ever adds advertising, sponsorships or affiliate partnerships:

  1. This page will be updated first, describing the relationship.
  2. Partner links will be labeled where they appear, and will use rel="sponsored".
  3. Commercial relationships will never change a calculator’s result, a formula, a default or what a guide recommends.
  4. Editorial decisions stay with the editorial team. Partners will not review or approve content.

Why we disclose this now

Readers deserve to know how a site that gives money-related information is funded. The US Federal Trade Commission also expects clear disclosure of material connections, such as payments for endorsements or links. We would rather state plainly that there are none today.
